About Novelizing

Novelizing is a community for sharing and discovering new fictions. It was created by authors, for authors with author friendly terms.

The Novelizing Constitution

We aim:

1. To foster a positive community of readers and authors.
2. To provide a way for authors to earn through their craft.
3. To support authors towards trad pub, self pub, or hybrid, if they so choose.
4. To strive never to be shady, predatory or evil.
5. This constitution shall form the mission and foundation of all we do. All business practices shall be weighed against it.
6. This document shall only be updated given a simple majority of staff, premium account holders, and monetised authors.

Premium and monetisation

Novelizing is free to use for all readers and authors. Some authors may choose to monetise their work, which means they offer advance chapters, and possibly other things, to premium readers.

If you sign up for Premium, 70% of your subscription goes to the authors you read, based on view count. The remaining 30% goes to Novelizing to cover costs. Income is paid out monthly based on an open formula.
